Sugar beet
1st Stage: Treatment and sowing of seeds. The dressing will help to obtain the first mass shoots about three times faster than with dry sowing. 1 liter of liquid BIOTECH fertilizer is applied per 10 liters of water. The solution contains micro and macro elements and a growth biostimulator that will accelerate seed germination. Being absorbed into the seeds, the drug supplies the sprouts with nutrition necessary for their growth and development. Seed material is aged for 24 hours, after which it should be washed. For seed germination, a temperature of + 5 ° C is sufficient and after 3 weeks you can see the first shoots, at + 10 ° C things will go faster and after 10 days sprouts will appear, at + 15 ° C it will take 5-6 days to wait for seedlings, and at a temperature above 20 ° in total - 3-4 days. Seedling beets are usually grown in short summer conditions, combining the initial development in greenhouses and greenhouses with further development in the open field. In the phase of 4-5 leaves (about 8 cm in height), a pick is made, leaving 1-2 plants in the nest. Dived plants are planted in the ground or in separate containers for growing, for this we recommend filling the containers with the universal substrate "BIOTECH" "vermicompost" acting as a regulator of soil moisture and containing a large amount of microelements (magnesium, manganese, iron, sulfur, zinc, molybdenum, and etc). For planting in open ground, it is very important to apply fertilizer in the ground in advance, since no fast-acting spring and summer top dressing will give such an effect. In addition, beets are characterized by the ability to accumulate nitrates, therefore, in this case, you need to be extremely careful with chemical fertilizers. In the spring, organic fertilizers in the form of a soil substrate should be applied to the place of future beet beds. For this purpose, the universal substrate "BIOTECH" "vermicompost", is put in proportions of 5 liters per sq / m, this will help to deoxidize the soil and make it lighter, as well as provide nutrients, maintaining and improving its structure. Fertilizers should be applied approximately two weeks before sowing the seed.
Stage 2: First root dressing: The first dressing is usually done when young plants begin to form a second pair of leaves. Dry fertilizers are applied with simultaneous loosening of the aisle. On depleted soils, it is better to apply the first top dressing with a liquid solution "BIOTECH" in the ratio of 100 g of fertilizer to 10 l of water. The solution is introduced at a distance of 6-10 cm from the beet row in a 3-4 cm furrow. Use a 10 running meter bucket of mortar. Water close to the soil so as not to burn the leaves. After adding the solution, it is covered with a layer of soil, watered and mulched. In the phase of 4-5 leaves, beets are sprayed with BIOTECH liquid solution. 100 g of fertilizer is dissolved in water and diluted in 10 liters of water. This top dressing will protect the beetroot roots from heart-shaped rot, as well as, through magnesium and iron in an easily digestible form, it will help the formation of more chlorophyll in the leaves, and sugars.
3rd Stage: Second feeding: In late July - early August, that is, in the second half of the growing season. Top dressing is carried out when the leaves of neighboring seedlings begin to close. To do this, dissolve 100 - 120 g of liquid BIOTECH fertilizer in 10-12 liters of water and water the beds with the resulting solution. This dressing will saturate the plant with the necessary easily digestible elements, which will positively affect the quality of the final harvest. Top dressing is finished 20-25 days before harvesting.
4th Stage: Harvesting: Harvest beets in dry weather, but before that they do not water for 2 - 3 weeks. Root crops are carefully dug in, cleaned from the ground, cut off the foliage, leaving the stalks of no more than 1 - 1.5 cm, sorted and discarded the damaged ones. It is not recommended to leave beets in the field: if it is not possible to immediately transfer them to a permanent storage, temporary piles are dug right into the field, in which root crops covered with soil are placed in 2 - 3 layers, they are also covered with a layer of earth on top, and as soon as possible transferred to a permanent storage location. We offer modern technology for growing vegetables and berries in greenhouses all year round. By replacing a 20 cm soil layer with a universal substrate "BIOTECH" "vermicompost" or by sprinkling a layer of the same thickness on top, thereby warming the soil. The effect is achieved due to the heat-insulating properties of the substrate, which will maintain the optimal temperature for the roots of plants and nourish the heated soil with all the necessary micro and macro elements. It is also imperative to maintain a constant air temperature of + 22 ° C .. + 24 ° C.
In this way, vegetables and berries can be grown in winter.
